    ITSSAR National Forklift Instructor Qualification

    • Deliver training to operatives external of your organisation
    • Deliver training on any site in the UK
    • Deliver training for any type of Lift Truck for which you hold a current and valid operator certiifcation
    • Certify operatives under the ITSSAR training scheme to operate internally or externally of your organisation

    ITSSAR National Forklift Instructor Qualification

    Completion of the ITSSAR Instructor qualification awards candidates ITSSAR Category 1 instructor status.

    Deliver the entire range of ITSSAR courses

    ITSSAR Cat. 1 instructors can deliver the entire range of ITSSAR accredited training courses, not just Forklift training, so long as the instructor holds a current and valid operator certification for the training category.

    This means an instructor who is certified to operate MEWP, Overhead Crane, HIAB etc. can quickly and easily begin instructing operatives to the ITSSAR standard on this equipment.

    Access the ITSSAR learning materials library

    ITSSAR Cat. 1 instructors can purchase learning materials from the ITSSAR library for the entire range of ITSSAR courses, supporting instructors in delivering a diverse range of training. Instructors do not need to write or prepare the training programme.

    This service is exclusive to ITSSAR instructors and ITSSAR training organisations.

    In-House Forklift Instructor Qualification

    Programme development

    Candidates develop their own basic training programme and learning materials throughout the Forklift Instructor Training course, with the assistance of the Didac tutor.

    On successful completion of Forklift Instructor Training, candidates shall have developed the foundation of all materials required to begin delivering basic training including:

    • Timetable
    • Lesson plans
    • Pre-use check sheet
    • Candidate report
    • Theory assessment question paper
    • Practical assessment mark sheet

    It is important to note that at this stage the programme would only be the foundation of a quality programme. Forklift Instructor Training will deliver the skills that enable instructors to continue to develop the course and take responsbility for your company's internal training.
