Course Description
Course description
Risk Assessment training helps develop competency by delivering knowledge and skills that combined with experience, gives employees the ability to contribute to the risk assessment process and act always to protect their own health and safety and that of others.
Employers need to ensure that people carrying out risk assessments are competent to do so. The CIEH Level 2 Principles of Risk Assessment course enables learners to conduct risk assessments in line with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
Risk Assessment is part of a wider Health and Safety management system. Risk Assessment training learners will understand the purposes and benefits of risk assessment; they will understand the principles of carrying out risk assessment and the relevant legislation that governs the practice.
In addition to training, competency requires the development of personal qualities such as an ability to make sound judgments and understanding of the workplace and work activities. Risk Assessment training courses offer guidance to staff on how to develop these abilities, serving to improve workplace culture for occupational health and safety within an organisation.
